Photo Retouching and Compositing

When your photos need help!

The photo of this coiled tubing unit was shot on a totally overcast day. The digitized scan was opened in Photoshop, the gray sky removed and the clouds and blue sky were imported from a stock photo and placed in the void left by the original overcast.

The mudflaps on the trailer originally carried the manufacturer's name. The owner's logo was imported into Photoshop, resized, rotated, adjusted for perspective and pasted in position.

This pump room had blue tile and white grout on the walls and floor. Using Photoshop, they were replaced with "steel" walls and decking by knocking out the tiles and "painting" in the steel.

This photo caught the man on the right not wearing his slicker-top. This was a breach of safety regulations. A top was created digitally, thus salvaging the image for the client.
