Manuals
When
you have more to say!
The
price manual on the right is an example of high and low
technology
combined to produce what the client needed.
The cover elements were taken from different sources. Photos were
from PhotoCD scans, color corrected and retouched in Photoshop.
The Mercator map is from a CD collection of editable vector art,
modified and colorized in FreeHand. The logo at the bottom was also
produced in FreeHand.
All page elements were assembled in PageMaker for high resolution
film output from an image setter. The cover was printed 5-color
plus an aqueous coating.
The inside pages were produced in Microsoft Excel and printed on
a desktop laser printer. Conventional negatives were then shot and
plates made. They were then printed in black and white. The final
product was collated and saddle-stitched.
This
was produced as a sales manual to present the client's franchise
opportunity to new prospects. A number of laminated pages were produced
which were shown and then placed into a pocket on the back of this
self contained easel binder. The entire product was designed and
furnished by JGA.
